two total surprises/gifts

today, i received via snail mail, two wonderful gifts.

one was the gift of literature from my mom - she sent a brand new copy of a book entitled "because she can" by bridie clark. i went to high school with bridie. pretty sweet.

the second was the gift of music from my friend don - he sent me a turntable for my very small but quickly growing vinyl collection. very sweet.
